A Range Finder and Sight Pins Combined into One Unit
The First Proto-type
Our first proto-type laser rangefinder was ready for trials and demonstrations in June of 2012. Jimmy and I went to South Africa to test and fine tune the new revolutionary bow sight. It was very exciting to see what the development team had accomplished and our hopes were high. We shot the new sight and revised it until we were able to get a very good demonstration of it's capabilities. As planned the laser rangefinding bow sight had the ability to be calibrated for the trajectory on the two bows we had for demonstrations. I had an old Hoyt and Mathews Switchback to try the sight. We chose a calibration range of 20-40 yards and calibrated the sight for that range. Once calibrated, I was able to move around and range my target from several distances within our calibrated range and the correct LED marker would appear automatically for that range. I did this several times and was very excited to see our revolutionary bow sight doing just what we hoped it would do.
